The word FALL on some scenery squares.

I flew to Cozumel on P3Dv2.5 and am now flying back on FSX.  Flying over Mexico going to and coming from Cozumel I notice some of the scenery squares have the word FALL on them. Just wanted to know what to do about the situation.  I have OLC NA installed on both v2.5 and FSX. What can I do to clear up the problem. The word FALL only appears on the scenery squares in Mexico. I do not have the problem over the rest of North America. Thanks for your input.

Hi Mr.Cool64,

Not an Orbx issue, but this is an issue leftover from default textures, where Microsoft ACES Devs left some season indicators on the certain ground textures (Big green text - SPRING, SUMMER, FALL) It would usually appear at locations that are still default, which is why you are seeing it in Mexico.

It can be resolved by installing FTXGlobalBase. (I note that you have OLC NA, but do you have FTXGlobal Base)

I believe this is the same problem as here: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/106628-ftx-global-spring-land-blocks/?do=findComment&comment=961003

see user post 1 has provided a picture, DL the SPRING_BOX.bmp  for comparison. http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=22249

Yes I have Pilots 2010 Global base installed on all 3 of the flight sims. P3dv3.4, P3Dv2.5 and FSX. I installed them with the Orbx FTX Global Base that incorporates the Pilots version. I also have Ftx Global Vector and the newest Orbxlibs installed also.

No, that is your Mesh Product. FTXGlobalBase is the pre-requisite Orbx product you must have for use with Orbx FTX_Vector and FTX_OLC.  FTXGlobalBase replaces the default global textures. Because they replace the default textures, each of your sims will need to have them installed. https://fullterrain.com/product/ftxglobal
