lpede1
Hello, I have a problem with installing the FTX Global Base pack. I once had fsx steam edition installed on my C: drive. I deleted fsx and removed al steam files from this drive. Recently, I reinstalled steam and fsx steam edition on my D: drive. The program runs fine. I bought FTX Global, but the installer only gives me the option to install in {C: programfilesx32 steam steamapps FSX}. This folder doesn't exist so the installer makes it himself. During the installation there is a decompression error. After the error, I cancelled the installation and removed the steam folder on the C: drive that the installer had made by himself. My question is: can you help me to install FTX Global in my real existing FSX folder on the D: drive without removing my fsx first?
Kavid
The old location is probably still in your Registry, use the registry tool that you can download from this site. This will point the installer to the correct location.
lpede1
Thanks, is it the "registry fix tool"? Because the description seems like something different.

Nick Cooper
Try the FSX Registry Utility from this page instead.
