John Venema Posted September 29, 2016 Share Posted September 29, 2016 We only recommend that you install the FTX regions when it's specified in the airport product page, but it's not compulsory if you can live without tech support. Of course you can expect a few issues such as a non-seamless blend at the edge of the photoreal area, misaligned traffic on roads, missing 3D lights etc. etc. Specifically - ENNK Narvik is designed for FTX Norway, but works ok with just FTX Global installed (your mileage may vary) KPSP Palm Springs was initially designed for FTX Global but then was patched to merge with openLC North America due to the changes in land class. Again, you are free to install it with or without other Orbx products, but as always if you don't have the recommended Orbx products installed you won't get technical support.
