Carl100
After an update, lost almost all scenery area names in the scenery.cfg file. I have been replacing the names but Orbx stuff seems to been really messed up. Thanks for any help!
john548
The only response you are likely to receive from the experts at this moment, is a request for an FSS order number to be inserted into your signature, as per forum rules, before you will receive any help with your problem. Nick Cooper
That would be the number at the bottom? I have added it to your profile. It look to me as if you have altered the target for the Scenery Config Edtor to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\NewScenery.cfg. You might find you still have all your entries if you change it back to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\scenery.cfg. If you wish to add all the FTX entries back, you can go to ORBX\scripts and run as administrator: FTXConfigurator_VECTOR.exe, this will add the Vector entries. FTXConfigurator_OLC.exe, this will add all the OpenLC entries. FTXConfigurator.exe, this will add entries for all your other installed products. Nick Cooper
Did you try running the .exe files?
Carl100
I'm sorry Nick, but I don't know were the .exe files are located.
Carl100
Nick, when I run the apps should I see another screen telling me that something is happening?
Nick Cooper
No, they just add the scenery library entries. You would find your files much easier to identify if you go to the View settings panel in Windows File Explorer and un-tick "Hide extensions for known file types". I find that the "list" selection is much easier to read also.
