eglk
Hi.. It would seem that my attempt to install openLC have not worked 100%. ot684079745faecc1e94d3c4577186bd47 my ORBX report and order number FSS05233146 Water textures all over the place and blue mountains too... During installation a note appeared asking me to insert Disc 2... Should all the four download files be unzipped before installation or do they unzip automatically during installation Process? I unzipped Part 1 to start the processes. While I have much improved USA textures something has not completed, and indeed FTX Central shows openLC North America as not being installed. Would appreciate your help!! EGLK
Nick Cooper
Have another read of the release announcement, which should clear things up for you.

I have same problem but I did unzip all 4 files to one location. This was after a full clean install of all of my Orbx products after formatting my hard drive. It seems to work if I only have Open LC and Global Base but once I add more that is it.
Nick Cooper
It is a very large installer, perhaps you have don't have enough space on your C drive temp file?
JeffRef
It does seem to work with only Global Base. I had similar issues with NZ NI and Scotland. I never did sort those out except by reinstalling one of those which promptly caused trouble with the other NZ NI FSS0213147 Scotland FSS0260154 Cheers Jeff
Nick Cooper
How much free space do you have on your C drive and if you have another drive or drives, how much free space is available there?
JeffRef
I currently have 1.62 TB free from 1.81 TB Hard Drive No other drive on PC Cheers Jeff
Nick Cooper
It's not free space then. This is how your files should look after you have extracted them all to the same folder.
JeffRef
That is how they appear on my drive. I am in the process of reformatting again and will reinstall Global Base North America LC NZNI NZSI Australia US Central Rockies US Northen Rockies Pacific Northwest England Wales Scotland And see if the problem(s) reoccur and at what stage As I mentioned I have had similar issues with NZNI and Scotland I did have issues when ORBX was loaded on another PC but there was a fair bit of other 3rd party scenery on that but none has been included on the PC we have been discussing Cheers Jeff

Nick Cooper
Hello, The diagnostic report function has been discontinued, can you explain what the problem is please?
JeffRef
Basically the same problem as in the first post Blue water textures over the terrain where none should be Also city textures where there should be rural and vice versa In this case I installed Global Base FSS0330330 which worked fine but after I installed North America LC and update it was back to same problem This was after a complete uninstall, and a reformat of the hard drive No other applications on hard drive except 7 Zip Cheers
Nick Cooper
In your first post, you mentioned error messages when installing Open LC, did you still see the same error message? Did you yet install the latest libraries and run FTX Central?
JeffRef
The first post was by eglk I did not see any error messages Installed all previous libraries except current one Tried 3 X but none downloaded Cheers
Nick Cooper
Sorry, I see that we have hijacked his topic. You only need the latest library version and then to run FTX Central. You can download from this page.

Nick Cooper
Hello, Yes, the one image that does display does indeed show a mess. After you installed the libraries and FTX Central, did you run the FTX Central\ Settings\Troubleshooting\Force Migration function? To publish a screen shot, first save your image in .jpg format (220kb) instead of .bmp format (3mb). Then upload it to an image hosting site of your choice and paste the link to the image into your post. This is the direct link to your image, now uploaded to http://fsfiles.org http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2016/10/01/2016-10-1_10-50-55-303.jpg The forum will allow you embed the image, so that anyone can see it, like this:
