Fiedman
I haven't found this discussed before and if it has please direct me to that topic but I am using FTX Global with FSX Steam and when I add a third party scenery the runway's and taxiways seem elevated than the rest of the scenery. Has anyone else ever had this problem and is there a fix for this?

Nick Cooper
Thanks. That type of elevation error is caused when the airport installed has an elevation adjustment file that is missing or not compatible. I think I see much more detail in your shot than I see at my copy of CYEG, do you have an addon that is not FTX? In the case of the NRM product, CYEG has an elevation adjustment file which should be in scenery\world\scenery and is named ADE_FTX_NRM_CYEG_elevation_adjustment.bgl. Please check that it is there and if not report back.

Nick Cooper
Look for the FTX elevation adjustment file and disable it by renaming it to ADE_FTX_NRM_CYEG_elevation_adjustment.bgl.OFF and see if the problem goes away.

Nick Cooper
As I posted above, in scenery\world\scenery. You will find these folders in your main simulator folder.
