John Venema Posted August 10, 2009 Share Posted August 10, 2009 YHBA uses an FS2002 gmax poly for the runway and aprons, and as such does not support water reflection effects in the sim. YMML uses FSX gmax polys so you see reflections there. Other Orbx airports use a combination of FSX APX runways and regular photoreal aprons/taxiways so you'll get a mix of the effects at those. We build each airport using techniques which suit the production timeline and the best use of the source imagery. This means that some airports to be released in the future may use FS2002 gmax polys, FSX gmax polys, or APX runways and photoreal textures. What this means is that the behaviour of rain reflections will vary from airport to airport. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
