fltsimguy Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 I hadn't used the AEC tool since buy NA LC and updating Vector. Today I have tried to run the tool. If finishes and there are absolutely no airports disabled...when before I had a large list. I manually disabled a few airports, applied...and they disappeared. fltsimguy Posted August 15, 2016 Author Share Posted August 15, 2016 [RESOLVED] - this is how. I have no idea how it became fixed. Guessing! I tried the AEC tool five times and each time no airports were disabled. Further I disabled manually several airports and none would stay in memory. I rebooted FSX each time for course. Then I launched Central because I saw some chatter about and update for Vector and OpenLC NA. I have yet to download them. Anyway I launched the tool again trying to manually disable some airports, this time they stayed disabled, so I ran the tool again and now I have a very comprehensive list of disabled airports and flying to some of those locations, all is well again. So all I can guess is somehow by launching Central, it fixed the issue, whatever it was. Sometimes this sim and its related issued are totally not understandable and frustrating.
