kodiepilot
Last week I installed P3D v3.5. I also installed Landclass NA and PNW regional scenery Pacific Fjords and other regional areas. All scenery is ORBX and downloaded to the current levels as of last week. The problem is with the KSEA airports land. It is elevated above the runways. I can take off from Boeing/King near KSEA airport with no problems. Flying over KSEA I can see the airport land rising above the runways. Anyone else see this? Thank You. Nick Cooper
Hello Bill, KSEA must have AEC disabled for it to look as it should.
kodiepilot
Thanks Nick, But what is AEC and how do you disable it. I also have the same problem with Palm Springs CA. Bill
Nick Cooper
Hello Bill, You can open the FTX Global Vector Configuration Tool in FTX Central\Settings\Tools, you may need to scroll down the list to see it. Then select the Airport Elevation Corrections tab. At the left you will see a list of Enabled airports. Type KSEA into the box at the top and KSEA will appear at the top of the list below Select (highlight) it in the list, not at the top and then click on Disable >>. This will move KSEA to the right hand list. Then click on apply and wait for the process to complete. An on screen message will appear when it has. You can do this for any airports where you see similar errors and it will most often cure the problem. Not all FSX or P3D airports are included in the list. kodiepilot
Nick, Thanks! That took care of KSEA. I'll try it tomorrow on Palm Springs CA. Bill
