dominique
I found that incongruous texture instead of the small city of Sanderson TX (the town too mean for bean), at the intersection of 90 and 285. Terrel and adjacent counties are so dry and desertic that any city is welcome for dead reckoning . Love the oil well patches a little north btw... Ripcord
Really just a wide spot in the road -- unless you are driving through it at a high rate of speed, then it is damn sure a city (where you will be fined heavily).
Ripcord
Looks like West Texas is pretty interesting -- I need to do some flights out there.

Not willing to bring grief to our fellow simmer Gypsy Pilot Dale but it's bigger than Valentine TX and pretty useful to have a city here when you want to turn to Fort Stockton on your way to Pecos. You may miss the turn out of boredom. And about speeding, this is the only way, they can't catch you. Prowlers don't do 300 knots GS. I like these "no country for old men" textures, in their dry kind of way....
Ripcord
I meant driving like on the ground, like the red flatbed truck driver there. You are correct, there is not a lot out there so I agree, you would want your towns to show up as expected!
