cyost
Hi, I was having a few issues with FSX-SE so I decided to just reinstall the sim and all add-ons to see if that would help. All was going well until I went to reinstall Orbx sceneries... In the installation wizard where you select the appropriate version from the dropdown menu there are no options available to select from. It seems it doesn't detect the sim now although it has been reinstalled and works fine. Clicking next does nothing. I've tried everything I can think of... Any suggestions? Nick Cooper
Try a visit to this page, download the FSX Registry Utility and use that to create the registry entries that are missing.

Thanks, Nick. That seemed to work, at least partially. Now the issue is that it can't seem to find the scenery.cfg file. The file is located in the FSX root folder, the same as the Orbx folder is located. I ran FSX just to be sure and scenery does not show up in the sim. Any ideas on what the problem might be? Nick Cooper
No, the scenery.cfg file is in ProgramData\Microsoft, in a folder named FSX or FSX-SE. That one and the one in appdata are back ups. Have a read of this topic and see if you can configure your system correctly.
cyost
Hey, it works now! Seems everything was already configured correctly but I just needed to run the install as FSX instead of FSX-SE. Thanks!
