TonyD
Now on my third reinstall - FTX Global, FTX England, FTX Scotland, FTX Wales, FTX Norway OpenLC Europe. Everything was perfect until England SP5. First time round - desert textures in EGJJ and grass in Norway changed from dark green to light brown. Second Install - perfect - no issues. Just added FTX Europe Freeware pack - back to deserts again! Can someone explain what is going on.
Guest
Hi, Did you install latest ORBXlibs and was your migration successful ? ENG SP5 wakes people up who didn't do the process yet as it uses vectors based on thje new landclasses
TonyD
Hi Richard I am sorry my previous post was inaccurate...I have just restored a previous image done 4 hours ago...and the corruption was already there. Installation order FTX Global v1.40 FTX Libraries 16.07.08 FTX Vector 1.30 + 1.35 +1.40 +1.45 FTX Trees HD FTX EU landclass FTX England 1.40 - but not SP5 FTX Wales FTX Scotland FTX Norway Everything checked out OK and the migration troubleshooter showed all green Installed SP5 - and checked everything was OK at EGJJ, ENGM, ENZV So something happened whilst I was installing the following Next Batch EGCW FTX EU EGCW Welshpool Airport Version 1.01 December 2015 EGHI FTX EU EGHI SOUTHAMPTON AIRPORT VERSION 1.10 - August 2014 EGPB FTX EU EGPB SUMBURGH AIRPORT 1.10 JUNE 2014 ESSA FTX GLOBAL ESSA STOCKHOLM ARLANDA AIRPORT VERSION 1.05 - July 2016 Tried running the migration tool again...still corrupted. Not sure what to try next. Regards
TonyD
I have gone back one more image............exactly the same scenery as above.......and no corruption. Yeah So what changed... When I originally installed the Orbx scenery I did not create a scenery config insertion point. After I had finished installing it all I created an insertion point below 'Addon Scenery' by moving the orange FTX label. It was at this point everything seems to have gone wrong. The landclass remained above the FTX entries. As a note I am running FSX: Steam Edition running on Windows 10 Anniversary. I am just relieved that I won't have to go through the whole install procedure again....thank your Acronis True Image.
Guest
Another point to control into FTX central (Tools/ Library Insertion Point) : FTX should be above OLC
