William Ferreira
Check out the scenery after instalation of FTX Global and Vector! How can I fix it?
Nick Cooper
Hello William and welcome to the forums. The generic solution is to open the FTX Global Vector Configuration Tool in FTX Central\Settings\Tools Select Airport Elevation Corrections and select Run auto configuration. Click on Apply and wait for it to finish.
danander11
Heya Nick, I'm having the same issue after installing Open LC North America. Using the AEC tool made absolutely no difference.
Nick Cooper
Do you know where that is?
Achmed
For some airports, you have to complement the airport elevation correction manually. I had the same issue after installing NA-full on one airport (ID67 worked ;-)) Try to disable AEC for your airport in the FTX Global Vector Configuration Tool: Put your airport code in the box "AEC is enabled for" on the left side of the AEC, select the entry in the list and push "Disable". fuzzy
Hi, I am having same problem, I cannot find KEWR or KLGA in the listing.
Nick Cooper
Airport elevations have nothing to do with Open LC. Not all airports have Vector AEC entries, only the ones that are incorrect in relation to the Vector data. Please check that you do not have all or part of another developer's products active at the same time. Here is KGCA with OpenLC NA, Vector and Global all active Here it is with another developer's airport elevation file in scenery\world\scenery the same apples to KEWR Here it is with another developer's airport elevation file in scenery\world\scenery
Nick Cooper
There are many reasons, as you can see, why an airport's elevation may be a mess. Without a specific airport to refer to, no useful advice is possible.
