Ashbygooner Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 Hi folks Can anybody advise the best way to uninstall / delete EU Eng, and its associated service packs without me completely ruining my sim? Whenever I have tried to fly in EU Eng, after about 5 minutes the sim crashes with a fatal error, and ideas? Im using FSX btw. Cheers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nick Cooper Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 You can stop FTX England by un-ticking the four FTX_EU_ENG scenery library entries. If you truly wish to remove it all, delete the four FTX_EU_ENG scenery library entries. Then go to your ORBX folder and delete the corresponding files from ORBX\FTX_EU. Then go to: ORBX\Scripts and delete scenerylib_EU_ENG.cfg ORBX\User Documents\Versions and delete FTX_EU_ENG.txt ORBX\User Documents and delete FTX EU ENG User Guide.pdf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ashbygooner Posted August 3, 2016 Author Share Posted August 3, 2016 Thanks Nick - I have been doing as you suggest and unticking the region in the scenery, thought might be worth uninstalling / reinstalling. Do you know if there is much difference between EU Eng and Open LC Europe ie the UK scenery to warrant uninstalling or is the difference not worth the hassle. Nick Cooper Posted August 4, 2016 Share Posted August 4, 2016 As EU England is a region, it does of course come with all the regional features, uprated airports, custom mesh, custom textures, points of interest and so on.
