ark1320
I have a dual FSX/FSX-SE system in Win7. FTX Global Base is installed in FSX and works well. For FSX-SE, at the suggestion of Pete Dowson, I have the FSX-SE scenery.cfg file point to the FSX scenery files, rather than the local FSX-SE scenery files. My question is, since FSX-SE is using the FSX scenery files, am I seeing FTX Global enhanced scenery when running FSX-SE? Nick Cooper
No, Global will not work this way, as it replaces default files. You will need to install it into your Steam Edition

Thanks, Al Al, It is an insane world for sure. Steam is very good about updating their FSX. I know it may be a pain to clean out both of these FSX games, clean up your registry and start again, but you are just at your beginning of some crazy stuff happening down the road. There is no need for both. I have right at 400Gb of scenery. I know the pain of re-installs. I would recommend getting rid of FSX for SE only. In the long run your machine will run fast and well. My 2 cents, Larry
