AdAstra
I'm trying to have a go at practicing flying in low visibility conditions/procedures. The runway lighting doesn't come on the airfield/runway, so you don't get the required distances that you need to takeoff/land. Is there a way to do this? I've tried searching the topic - found nothing.
Marcus Nyberg
Hey! If I understand you correctly, you wonder if there is a way to enable runway lighting if bad visibility during daytime? What airport are you thinking about? Depending on what techniques were used when making the scenery, the light turns on in low visibility as well. Also depending on sim, what sim are you running? Cheers, Marcus
AdAstra
G'day Marcus and thanks for the response. you are correct. I would the lights to turn on during daytime + low visibility. Is this possible with orbx YMML, YBBN? fsx is the platform. I also have orbx aust installed. regards
Marcus Nyberg
Ah Alright, sorry, don't think there is anything to do about that, it's just limitations in FSX that makes it hard to get lights to trigger in low visibility if you have advanced ground texturing. I'm not the developer of those sceneries but I doubt there is anything to do.
