active FTX: NA Gold USA Northern California ATC window not working with saved flight

I like to fly the A2A Cub from airport to airport and then save the flight so that the plane is as I left it. When I do that with the Northern California region active, the ATC window only has options for the airport at which I started (which could have been 12 - 15 airports ago). So I can't use the ATC window to dial up ATIS for a weather check. I cannot even manually tune in ATIS.

 

However, I I open the same plane at the same airport without using a saved flight, the ATC window and ATIS works as expected.

 

Any clues?

Hi there.  Try updating the time/date after you load up your saved flight.  FSX probably thinks you're still on the original flight.  I've done what you are suggesting and haven't had that problem.  Another possibility is that you haven't programmed in a direct flight, since the Cub doesn't have a GPS, so again, FSX thinks you're still on the original flight.

I'm sure that was it, but I wasn't sure how to reset it. But then, it just started working again. So all is well. Thanks.
