jlund
Will there be a new version of Bob with a quad installer, so I can use him in P3D v3.1? I've tried the current one, but choosing to install it as P3D v.2 get's me an "cannot create script" error. I need him for creating scenery with Instant Scenery 3, and no, Avatar man isn't good for it, but Bob will be cause he's invisible :-)
jabloomf1230
I know it's not the answer you are looking for but I use the payware paraglider authored by Franz Luftfahrt. It can be used to accurately place scenery.
jlund
Naah, I know that I won't be using a paraglider for anything else than Instant scenery then, and it's not worth the investment then. But any tips are welcome. Thanks.
Griphos
Paraglider is one of the most enjoyable ways to fly in FSX. You're missing out on a great experience. Fly like a bird!
jlund
Well, In FSX there was a Trike I believe it was called, and I guess I haven't flown it more that 10 times all together, so I know I will not use a paraglider except in Instant scenery. So it will be a waste of money. I hope they will update Bob for P3D, cause he will be perfect for placing objects.
Guest
There's an 'Avatar' in P3Dv3.2. I tried it for a few seconds and it does work but unlike Bob you can actually see it. John
jlund
I have tried the Avatar, but using the top down view he just fell to the ground and I couldn't find a way to use him properly.
Guest
Why use him in top down view? Just use him as if he were an aircraft taxiing along the ground in outside view. John
jlund
I find it's easier to place things more precisly in top down view.
