dannycam6
I am having problems with PAJN, I have FTX Central set to North America. I start P3d v3.3. I select PAJN as the airport. When P3d starts I get image PAJN1 I press ALT, World then Scenery library. After the library opens, without changing anything, I press OK and let the scenery reload I get image PAJN2 I have run AEC several times, but it did not help. As a matter of fact, PAJN is not on either list. I have no idea why this is happening. I have not seen this on any other airport. I was hoping someone can help me solve this problem Thanks, Dan

Dave_YVR
Do you have any AI traffic program/conflicting afcad or ADE file? Do you have FTX Southern Alaska?
dannycam6
Dave, Thanks for replying, I have done a search and cannot find any other afcad or ADE files other than Orbx. I am using Ultimate Traffic 2. I do have FTX Southern Alaska.
Dave_YVR
Ah ok, well that makes much more sense.. SAK includes it's own PAJN airport files, have you disabled or removed them? In my SAK Scenery folder the ONLY PAJN file I have still in there is FTX_SAK_objects and effects_PAJN_LDIN_PLC.BGL. To avoid conflicts, I have removed from the scenery folder the following files. ADE_FTX_SAK_PAJN.BGL ADE_FTX_SAK_PAJN_CVX.bgl FTX_SAK_objects_PAJN_PLC.bgl
dannycam6
Dave, Thanks for the try but I disabled the three .bgl files and still have the problem. When I select PAJN, I get this; When I go to the scenery library and press OK, after it reloaded the scenery, I get this: I really don't know why this is happening. I have not seen this problem on any other airport.
Dave_YVR
Hmm ok, have you run FTX central to Global Hybrid or even back to North America?
dannycam6
FTX Global with hybrid on, or off and North America all do about the same. The only way I can clear it to normal is to open the scenery library and click OK.
Dave_YVR
Well that's just very odd. Hate to say it, but I'm out of ideas. Hope that one of the team members can step in.
dannycam6
Dave, Thank you for trying. You had some very good ideas and suggestions. This is my third post about this problem, over the last few months, but no one from Orbx has replied. So it seems they are unsure of what is causing this either. Thanks again for you help
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, one of the main reasons to offer a forum for help with technical issues is that users can find and browse previous threads and thus discover solutions "instantaneously". Typing "PAJN elevation" into the search box yields plenty of posts with specific recommendations for problem solving at that particular airport. For example: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/101057-pajn-that-old-sinking-feeling/?p=913848 http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/107960-pajn-pakt-fsx-elevation-problems/#comment-971545 Moreover, as mentioned in the respective manuals, most FTX Regions have a dedicated thread in our compatibility subforum with links to known issues and their solutions or work-arounds; for SAK see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/62409-sak-compatibility-index/ Cheers, Holger
