Petesmst
I am Running FSX (SE) with Windows 10 (64-bit) I downloaded and installed the OrbX Global Base and a few Orbx airports and finally the latest Libraries. On impulse, I decided to "Verify Game Cache" of Flight Sim in Steam. It promptly started to download a mass of files, telling me the expected time to complete the download would be nearly 2 Hours. I understand that installing the Global Base replaces much of the original Flight Sim X SE scenery files. By verifying the Game Cache through Steam, am I in fact re-installing the original FS files, or not? Will I have to reinstall all of the Orbx files? (In which case, it seems that running the "Verify Game Cache" in future would be a mistake?)
Nick Cooper
Hello and welcome to the forums. Yes, the download replaces all files it finds to be missing or not default. If you were to do this, you would certainly need to re-install FTX Global.
