I reinstalled the software with no change. I have no idea what to do. Please take into consideration I am 76 years old and I need things spelled out for me by way of instruction. For example, if you want me to look at a file or folder please type out the path. Please try to avoid uncommon acronyms. I really want to be able to fix this. I think that your shot shows FTX lighting that does not work if FSX is run in the Direct X 10 preview mode. Start the game and go to the SETTINGS-DISPLAY page and remove the tick from the box next to the words Preview Direct X 10 . Restart the simulator.
