Ward Heape
I was seeing a light above the runway that would cause collisions so I bought I'd chech ftx central to see if there is anything that might solve the problem. I found that FTX Aero won't start, stops any internet connection, and won't let windows reboot or the task manager come up.
Ward Heape
If you need a serial or something to help please let me know. Pretty shocked at this. Nothing has done this with my 2015 Razer Blade before.

Ward Heape
If I have ran the steam validation a while back is there anything I should do with global, vectors and openlc?
Ward Heape
Everything seems to be listed where it should be in the scenery order
Ward Heape
Aero is again working fine but I still have a light over the taxiway at cybr very close to the runway that will cause a collision with anything twotter-size or bigger.
Nick Cooper
Hello, I find that I see the same light. I have edited the title of your topic to reflect the present problem, hopefully one of the freeware developers will now see this and comment for you. To answer your question above, validating the files for FSX Steam will overwrite the FTX Global texture files, so you will need to re-install that. Here is a screenshot of the apparent error at the airport.
Ward Heape
Tyvvm for verifying that; was afraid it was just me and tried a few things to no avail. I am not sure that I didn't re-install a few things after a steam verification some time ago; is there any way to tell if global is present and fine? Tyvm again. Nick Cooper
There is a huge difference between the default and FTX Global textures, you should be able to tell straight away just by looking.
Ward Heape
I think it's there but might re-install to make sure. Would I need to re-install vectors and openlc as well as any updates or? Thanks for your patience.
Nick Cooper
I don't think the other two will have been affected. However, the installers look for files that are already there, so there is little to lose by re-installing anyway.
Ward Heape
Tyvm Nick. Will re-install OrbxFTXGlobalBASE140 as soon as I finish this FS Economy flight.

Matt Skeoch
I will just refresh the post here in that I also use the CYBR airport quite frequently and now that I have ORBX I am also running into the hidden light pole on the taxiway. Maybe get a bump since 2016 on getting an easy fix published.
