Nicolas Marsh Jackson
I am having problems getting Global and NorCal working. I’ve installed and uninstalled them both several time following the FAQ Forms posts instructions carefully. And I can’t seem to solve it. Things appear to work in FTX Central in that I can apply the region or Global but when I load the sim everything comes out default. I’ve made sure to update the Orbx Libraries and I downloaded the most recent installers from The Flight Sim Store. I amusing FSX:SE. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bruce Hamilton
Global base is only replacement textures, so unless you invest in the other layers like Vector, Open LC and a good quality mesh, it will look a lot like default. As for NorCal, can you post some screenshots?

Nicolas Marsh Jackson
There are screen shots FTX Central saying Norcal is activated and the sim rendering default scenery in the bay area. Any ideas?
Bruce Hamilton
Check your configuration sliders, make sure they're set to the recommended settings in the manual. Looks like they're set too low.
Nicolas Marsh Jackson
I'll give that a try but I really think what I am seeing is default scenery. When I had Norcal working before I seem to recall the Bay Bridge being up to date and static airplanes on the tarmac. And KCIC has an air museum that I recall showing up before that isn't there now
Bruce Hamilton
It's hard to tell on most of your shots because the plane is over the water, and objects on land will pop up as you get closer to them, but the second shot down with all the houses definitely looks like NorCal to me.
