active no walls

Having a texture issue.

Why do I have to have to hybrid mode on, to get textures when I have no regions? Here is what I mean. There are wall textures not showing up in all countries in the world and can not fix it, but then when I checked off hybrid mode, those textures showed up. But why? I do not have any regions installed. Why would I then need to have hybrid mode on if I am just flying in a small area. I tried many airports and did not fly from one region to the other, but at each airport, one in Canada, one in the USA, one in Europe and 2 in Africa and all had walls missing, a roof yes but no walls. Then after checking hybrid I tried all the airports again and the walls were visible,...but why? Do I then need to have hybrid on all the time?

 

Very confusing and frustrating
