Nick Cooper
Or you can try the FSX Registry Utility from this page.
Daryl Henbery
I just bought a new computer with C:\ as SSD. I originally installed fsx steam to C:\Steam\steamapps\bla bla (the default path). It all worked well but the more I installed on SSD FSX SE started to crash. So I completely uninstalled FSX SE, Orbx Global and all my other addons, then reinstalled FSX SE on my D:\drive (default path). i9 even ran the reg utility as above and restarted everything. But now Orbx Global installs back to C:\Steam\steamapps\... even though I'd completely deleted that folder. Orbx just created another C:\Steam\steamapps\... Very frustrated as I've spent $$$ on scenery and airports that I can't use. I don't know why the installer doesn't let user define path like most other programs?? I've spent days researching and yet to find a solution that works. thanks ORDER #FSS0383211
Nick Cooper
Hello and Welcome to the forums. When you attempt to install, does the installer offer you an FSX choice, a choice of FSX Steam Edition or both?
Daryl Henbery
Hi Nick, Thanks for your reply, but I figured it in the end... I had to delete all references to FSX in my Appdata folder.
