flyer767
Hello: Does anyone know what causes the differences in the scenery? This is the only airport I have seen this anomaly at. Thanks Don
hwh86
Hi Don, I am just guessing, it is a poorly blending third party add-on version of KOSH. I had the same thing years ago, before I started buying and installing Ftx/Orbx products. I'll try and take a similar screenshot of mine, that one of yours was taken from a pretty high altitude. Regards, Les
hwh86
As promised, here is my screenshot and it seems I have the same problem which to me is not a problem at all. I've got all the goodies Orbx created and I am quite happy with that, I fly mostly at lower altitudes.
Jarrad Marshall
Hi guys, The scenery in the first screenshot is a default FSX photoreal area - it is actually part of the Oshkosh Airshow scenery which was made by Microsoft for FS2002 and included in both FS9 and FSX. I don't think (though haven't confirmed) that was ported over to P3D. Cheers, Jarrad
flyer767
I think this problem occurred when I did the freeware airports. Is there a way to uninstall KOSH and go to the default Orbx scenery? I have only Orbx products including the Global Base Pack and the Global Vector software. Jarrad Marshall
G'day Don, It's definitely unrelated to any ORBX products - it's part of the default FSX scenery, and you can disable it by finding the "Oshkosh Aerial Photo" entry in your scenery library. flyer767
I removed the image and it worked as you said it would. Thanks. Don
