jfriz
Hi folks, Before retirement, I was a real world pilot in Alaska. Just to let you know there are NO trees at the airport, [PABR] or, in fact North of the Arctic Circle, maybe some scrub brush. I was somewhat shocked to see all the large trees when I installed the scenery. Regards, Jerry Friz
larryisenor
The landclass scenery uses a scenery texture that has trees. Unfortunately there is not a city landclass available without trees or I would have replaced the default. Larry
jfriz
Hi Larry, Thanks for the reply, I'll try to uninstall it, as the default is a lot better. Regards, Jerry Friz
fltsimguy
Global warming....trees are growing in places they never did before....arctic permafrost is melting and now trees are taking root. Carbon sequestering is happening at a great rate up north, which counters some of the production elsewhere. While that is all true, I'm just kidding of course about the flight sim issue. Double J
Global Warming? Maybe that explains the threats of frost in Phoenix and the 12C daily temps for the last month? hmm? The cacti need blankies.
