Windows 10 problems - move FSX to E drive??

I'm finding with windows 10 installed (among many other problems) I can no longer save bgl files directly from Airport Design Editor into FSX addon scenery folders.  I am considering re-locating FSX to the E drive so are there any problems I need to watch for?  Do I need to uninstall and re-install my FTXCentral?  Do I need to reinstall all of my FTX addons?  Should I go back to default scenery before commencing?  Is this a totally bad idea and is there an easier alternative?  Is it better to just grit my teeth, save the bgl's in ADE and copy them?

Is there a way we can rap MS on the knuckles for abandoning us?

Thanks Nick, I opened the properties of Airport Design Editor.exe and on the compatibility page, I selected "run this programme as an administrator".  You have saved me going down a crazy path and hours of work.  Thanks for the heads up and I'll now watch for that problem in other software.
