I keep mine as North American active and do not deactivate when I leave out of NA regions. I don't really notice any difference in doing so, so I leave it alone. I pretty much do the same, and likewise notice no difference. If the OP anticipates leaving a Full Region or entering a Full Region from outside, then ticking Hybrid in Global will do the trick.
