BHP
I've installed FTX Southern Cal and following the guide I've run Vector and gone onto the Scenery Library (FSX:SE) and attempted to uncheck the Edwards AFB entry, but I get a pop-up that states the Entry is required and can't be unchecked. I was able to uncheck the Las Vegas entry.
Krycek
As it states in the SoCAL manual you can edit the scenary.cfg manually as some areas are required (therefore cannot be unchecked in the sim). Editing the required flag from true to false corrects that.
BHP
Yea, thanks. I guess I glossed over that section after it mentioned the item would be greyed out, which my entry wasn't.
Thomas_LOLW
I have the same problem and corrected the flag in the scenery.cfg...actually I have set both flags to "FALSE", but Edwards AFB is still listed in the Scenery page, and I still cannot deactivate it in FSX SE. Any ideas?
Nick Cooper
Perhaps you did not edit the correct scenery.cfg file. It is to be found in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX.
Thomas_LOLW
Thanks Nick...you were right - I made the edit on the wrong place....was not aware that there is more then one scenery.cfg existing.
