G.K. Posted November 24, 2015 Share Posted November 24, 2015 years ago I used to use "B17 Mighty Eighth", it was good fun at the time, flying through flak and getting shot at. The game enabled the player to rename the crew so I named them after family members.......this turned out to be a mistake. After 2 bursts of flak I became so concerned about getting everyone back in one piece that I aborted the mission and flew home very carefully. It was too much, I never did it again. The added fear factor was extraordinary I suppose it's a fantasy and not doable but I was thinking something similar for FSX P3D would add that extra level of immersion. Perhaps a selection of passenger co pilot models that could utilise a photo of a specific person to supply the identity and a plugin/addon piece of software to load them into the AC. I'd guarantee the immersive fear factor would be magnified 10x at least. if it was doable I reckon it would already have been done. Just a thought. Sue In it's day it was a good game/combat sim.
