BrettT Posted October 31, 2015 Share Posted October 31, 2015 Hi, I recently purchased the AU FTX region for P3DV3 and noticed that the freeware Holgermesh was just released for P3DV3. I know the other FTX regions have the mesh included already, is that the case with AU FTX as well or is the Holgermesh needed. Jethro VH-JET Posted October 31, 2015 Share Posted October 31, 2015 Hi Brett, Australia is the only Full Region that didn't come with its own custom higher resolution than default Mesh. So yes you should install AU Holgermesh for P3Dv3 to have a more realistic view of Australia. Bearing in mind that Australia is not a region with vast mountainous terrain, AU Holgermesh is perfectly suited for the LOD required, giving proper placement of FTX payware Airfield/Airports and other scenery elements.
