owd
Have tried using the FTX Configurator and switching regions in FSX Central 2 to no avail. Hope someone can help me out here. Edwin Brown Osoyoos BC Canada
Neil Hill
Hi Edwin, I would say you need to run your Vector Configurator and "disable" the CBB9 elevation correction. That should correct the elevation issue. I'm not set up to check that at present but it should work. Cheers, Neil
owd
Hi Neil, As mentioned, I had tried the disable feature to no avail. (Yes, I did hit the apply button and it shows in the disabled column.) All the other strips in the area are OK. Penticton CYYF, Oliver CAU3, Midway CBM6, Scott OS7 and Princeton CYDC. Very strange that Osoyoos CBB9 has a problem. Ed.
Nick Cooper
Hello Ed, I see what you do with AEC enabled. However, as Neil suggests, with AEC Disabled, I see this As you seem to own NRM, I wonder why you don't see this, AEC disabled or enabled?
owd
Neil, Thanks for posting the pictures. My scenery doesn't look anything as good as yours. Don't want to clutter up this post with images but obviously I have something not right. Have just recently gone through a complete clean install of Windows 10 Pro, FSX Gold/Acceleration etc. etc. My FTX Central 2 shows 3 regions: FTX Global x Enable Hybrid Mode FTX Global Base Pack FTX Global Vector Other NA Freeware Pack North America Central Rockies Northern Rockies Pacific Fjords Pacific Northwest South Alaska Other NA AI Traffic Oceania Australia New Zealand North New Zealand South Other AU Holgermesh Not sure where to go with this but certainly don't have scenery like yours! No matter what I do with FTX Central Region selection or AEC disable/enable, I get no change in the scenery.
Nick Cooper
Hello Ed, Try setting FTX Central to North America and see if the airport looks any better. By all means post a screenshot, they are often very helpful in diagnosing a problem.
owd
http://www.fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/image/Yi0 Only change I can get is going to Global with Hybrid off. As I stated earlier, North America makes no difference, AEC enabled or disabled. Ed. Looks like my try at posting the image source doesn't work. Will try something else. Ed.
