Afterburner
Hi folks, I have recently installed FTX Global for my P3D v3, but during some of my flights I have discovered texture spots representing inner cities that have no autogen. Please look at my screenshot. If you could test it on your system using the coordinates, I could find out if the fault is related to my setup or if it is a more widespread phenomenon. I would be grateful if you could test it for me. Thank you!
pgreenwo
I have this too - I'm assuming its because I can't the latest orbx library to download yet.
Afterburner
I have downloaded the latest ORBXLibs already - but I still have the same issue.
Museumkeeper
Hi all I am at present re-loading P3D v2.5 and after loading FTX Global, I get the same autogen-free texture spots as you are talking about. They are in fact tree/bush areas. The reason for this is that you are looking at the bare Flightsim with only FTX Global loaded and as this only replaces textures, the look of the scenery generated is very 'CHUNKY'. When you can eventually load FTX Vector and OLC, you will see the true look of the Orbx World. Best of luck with your reloads Kind regards Ian
Afterburner
OK, I fixed the issue thanks to a tip by a member in the Avsim forum. I hadn't clicked on "Apply Group" in FTX Central before - now I have done it, and I have all my autogen!
