hawkdriver
Could use some help here. Purchased and installed EU Scotland March of 2014 with no issues and really enjoyed. Just recently acquired new computer (using Windows 8.1) and started re-installation processes for FSX. Have tried multiple times to install EU Scotland with no joy. After starting the install I get the following - "Please insert disk #.2 path {045FAB54-87A7-4A11-837E-6FF5A3EBDC65}". After this, a box pops up to ignore, retry or cancel, which doesn't help. I've also re-downloaded from the Flight Sim Store numerous times but doesn't change the problem. Any recommendations? Nick Cooper
Hello, The please insert disk X message is usually seen when the installer has not been unzipped. Once you have the download, which is a .zip file, before you run the installer it must be unzipped, ideally to a different folder. If you are viewing the download in Windows File Explorer, you will see the same files but they are still compressed, so the installer cannot see or use them. Recommended tools are Winzip and 7zip. There are free/trial versions of both.
