FTX central V2 wont recognise FTX global

Hi Guys,

I recently removed flight1's ultimate terrain Canada and re-installed orbx global so I could add the Canada Alaska LC. The install of orbx global appears fine, I backed up my textures, but then when I installed the Canada Alaska LC and it auto opened FTX central V2 it still showed 'default' instead of 'global' however it did detect my Oceania region.

I left it at default and tried the LC install. It finished the install.

However when I run P3d I see multiple ground texture tiles popping into existance, many of which are completely incorrect (ie a random water tecture or the tiles dont line up with the next etc). I can add a screen grab on request.

Windows 7 64bit

P3D v2.4

Flying out of CYVR but also same result out of CYYZ

Im trying another full install of global and the LC now.

Any other thoughts?

thx!

Hi Clarky

Make sure your Global Base is updated to version 1.3 for it to show up in FTX Central and also check out the below link in regards to what sounds like a corrupted terrain.cfg of yours...

or this

And your scenery library should resemble this order of priority:

3rd Party Scenery (Any scenery you wish to display above Orbx FTX scenery)

OZX Scenery (Freeware designed to fit with FTX Regional software)

FTX Full Regional Scenery & Airports

Tongass Fjords (Fills the gap between Southern Alaska and Pacific Fjords Regions)

FTX OpenLC Scenery

Named Default Scenery Entries

FSGlobal 2010 Entries

FTX Global Vector Entries (OBJ, APT, CVX, EXX)

Numbered Default Scenery Entries

FTX Global Vector Entry (AEC)

"Default Scenery"

"Default Terrainâ€

Cheers
