Uninstalling all ORBX products?

Recommended Posts

I am adding a new 1 terabyte SSD, and I can't find anything in the Windows 7 uninstall window for the ORBX products.  I want to re-install P3D, and all my ORBX products back into P3D on the new SSD.  I also have FSX with all the same ORBX products installed as well, BUT I am only removing P3D, and then re-installing it to the new SSD as well as the ORBX products.  Also I don't want to disturb my FSX installation when removing ORBX.  Please advice. Thank you in advance.

Hi virgey,

This should get rid of all of it:

And then uninstalling P3D and deleting the entire "Prepar3D" directory afterward should clean up everything. A registry tool like CCleaner can take care of any remaining registry entries that point to your old install. That'll start it all fresh on your system.

Cheers

Why, uninstall and re-install, I filled up my 500GB SSD so I bought a 1TB SSD copied all files from my small SSD to the large SSD and it all worked fine.

Here is a guy doing this

Thank you for your quick reply, but unfortunately I have been gone until recently, and have been unable to ask you another question before I actually make the change. What I wanted to ask is this, will this affect my FSX installation which has all the same ORBX products installed. My FSX installation is on a physically separate HDD. Thank you in advance.

No worries, there should be no impact on any other installations. Prepar3D has it's own independent registry entries from FSX.
