Lance Arnold
Hi guys, I have just completed a complete uninstall of FSX and all associated third party add-ons and then reinstalled FSX. I only re-installed the ORBx FTX, OZx and Blencowe add-ons so I could try to speed up the simulator and troubleshoot the add-ons that slow it all down. Unfortunately after installing YPJT Jandakot airport I have lost several components of the airport: People-Flow Taxiway Markers Runway Markers Parking Markers Fuel Bowsers - Southern Apron adjacent to taxiway G1 Benches Flags do not wave (I have forgotten if these wave) And I am sure there others that I am unaware of at this time. I have installed the libraries to 31 March 2015 (FTXORBXLIBS_150331) As far as I can tell there are no other installed Jandakot airports other than the default FSX. since I had installed this previously on my machine I did not have to do an online verification. I have also included a pic of my Scenery settings. Is this a problem with one of the libraries or could this be a settings problem? Could this be a conflict with another library I have installed. Thanks in advance for any advice as to howe to fix this problem. Regards, Lance. p.s. I forgot to add that I have tested several other airports ( YCUN Cunderdin, YBLN Busselton, KHQM Bowerman) and they all seem to be ok, they have runway and taxiway markers, people flow etc.
Jarrad Marshall
G'day Lance, If you max out your Scenery Complexity slider, this will enable all components such as people, markers etc to display. Let me know if that solves the problem for you Cheers, Jarrad
Lance Arnold
Thanks for the quick reply Jarrad. I should have thought of this first myself, I shall give it a go tonight and report if this corrects the problem. Regards, Lance.
Lance Arnold
Hi Jarrad. your suggestions worked a treat, I increased the Resolution Settings and everything came to life, of particular importance was the Global Texture Resolution. I should have re-read the User Guide and tried the recommended settings. I have saved a copy of this for future reference. Many thanks again. regards, Lance.
