    Thanks for the replies. It occurs at the selection screen, if I do nothing the fans kick in and out. I have decided to uninstall for now and try in the spring when I will get a new pc!

    Thanks for replying. XP gets to the choice screen and if I select to fly from Portland which is default once it starts with plane just sitting there it starts after a few seconds. It’s a vanilla install, excluded from AV, and no plugins, not even European area added. Something is triggering the fans and when running it’s not running as hot as MSFS. I uninstalled/ reinstalled to no avail. Maybe a future update will cure this. Hope to get a new PC early next year that can handle it!!! Pity as I love XP with TEGB.

    Hello all.

    I purchased XP 12 in recent Steam Sale in anticipation of TEGB for XP 12 releasing in the near future. It installed fine, and did not add anything to the default install. When I get to the main selection screen and literally do nothing I can hear the gpu fans going into overdrive and this goes on every two minutes or so. To the point the noise level ruins the experience. Anyone any ideas.? Pc is Intel i9, RTX 2080 8 gb and 32 GB ram.

    I clean out my pc twice a year and MSFS and XP11 run fine and quiet. 
    Any ideas on this one?
