With MSFS I rarely ever buy scenery anymore , with the freeware at TO I don’t need it
that’s a very valid way to go - we all know from previous sims that it can be a very expensive hobby,
though, when I get the chance, am very happy to support the developer community - & there are some top grade add ons,
the occasional sales really help - Orbx recently has had some great bargains - thanks! (it does make a difference to the $bottom line)…

once again, I feel compelled to say that Lorby’s MSFS add on organiser works really well with MFS,
super simple & no messing around with complicated folder structures,
I remember when Lorby was ‘go-to’ for P3D organisation as advised on these Orbx forums (fora)…

fixed - thanks!

cannot access Sales items for the latest Orbx Sale and it is 11am Aussie Eastern time just now…
or am I mistaken?
-
from memory, it is something like the ‘manifest json’ not configured…
-
this can happen when the package is not configured completely correctly,
the same thing happens with the free Fenix Australian livery pack,
it is actually installed & the liveries are usable - but, shows as uninstalled in the Content Manager…

I’m not quite sure that the Microsoft KAVX actually appears in the content manager - with option to delete…
it seems baked in with WU10,
personally, disabled it with Lorby’s MSFS Addon Organiser…

Hi Orbx Team,
I'm absolutely amazed by the super professional release of the Fenix Airbus A320 - very easy purchase for me Day 1,
& it performs very well,
as a discount promo for suitable airports was offered by Orbx for the PMDG 737-700 release - maybe a similar offer could be made available for the very significant release of the Fenix A320,
heck, I may even get a new Navigraph subscription to have up-to-date Charts & Navigation data...
just a cheeky idea for you

Any other suggestions ??
have you tried the Lorby MFS Organizer?
just saying that’s what I use to organise sceneries in MFS…
-
quite interesting, Pete
it is the implementation in game - such as MFS - that will determine the effectiveness of these techniques,
& in general, Nvidia GPUs seem to have the advantage to be able to run both DLSS & FSR,
MFS is reported to implement both techniques - so then will be able to test it out…

Pass…

is this topic meant to be in the Xbox section?

tried last night flying from YMML to Orbx YMEN, with plenty of Community folder addons, in TBM930,
went to Melbourne City & then back to YMEN trying different directions - zero CTDs,
however, I experienced strange CTDs at EIDW Dublin that only a few experienced or reported,
so it seems that there can be ghosts in the MFS machine

Well, hopefully the flooding doesn't reach your level then. Good to hear you have a bit of a buffer, at least for now. Is the water still rising, or have the storms died down at all?
thanks for your question, Landon
the situation now - viewing the flood plain...
Kyogle is cattle country, & the flood plain is the reason for such lush pastures - just not so good for houses,
our whole area is called the Northern Rivers NSW,
& this rain/flood event is as a result of what is called an East Coast Low,
this event is continuing across a very wide area - even down to Sydney environs,
the Emergency Service workers are absolute legends!

that looks pretty bad, going by your picture you are higher up, is this something you see happen often?
I'm about 50 metres above the river,
Longtime locals say it is the highest they have seen it - for this particular area,
& the photo shows that it is a natural floodplain - I've only been at my current location for 4 years,
when first moved in, it was drought conditions - a land of extremes,
& each flood event has its own varying characteristics & effects...

Dell Alienware QD-OLED 34" Monitor
in Hardware and Tech Talk
Posted
this is an excellent flight sim monitor & the 34” ultrawide curved view is very immersive,
this latest QD-OLED tech provides excellent visuals,
it has a pixel refresh function every 4 hours to negate the risk of image burn-in,
& it comes with a 3 year warranty…
