  2. I'm also curious about this. @John Venema can you guys please be more transparent re seasons support? It's not always obvious from your press-releases and P3D screenshots. Especially with the latest cross-platform releases and that permanent TrueEarth's summer.
  3. The airport is truly beautiful, can't argue with that. However, it's not that complex, and the surrounding area is fairly flat and empty. I'm having slightly less fps at FSDT KLAX + Orbx SoCal. And about the same performance at UK2000 EGLL + Orbx England. And both are way, way more complex and demanding than KIDA + CRN. I mean no disrespect, but while 24 fps might be enough to you, it is not enough to me to have a smooth experience.
  4. @Russell Linn may I ask why there is a copy of most KIDA buildings placed about 1000 ft underground? Maybe it has something to do with the poor performance?

  8. It was answered multiple times already. 1. AU2 has its own - better - mesh. Holgermesh is not required and must be uninstalled. 2. A handful of Orbx airports aren't yet compatible with AU2. They should be patched in the coming weeks.
  9. Love all the improvements, great job! I will, however, miss my beautiful product tiles. The list view is a bit boring and somehow less informative. Maybe you can add a small thumbnails to it? I also wholeheartedly support the idea of having some kind of built-in map, showing all Orbx products (and highlighting owned/installed)! I'm using Orbx "Product Map" every time I'm purchasing a new Orbx scenery, but it's so outdated.
  10. It seems that all Orbx regions are affected by this. I'm having the same issue, but with the "classic" Orbx England. I did a clean install of the 4.5, and sitting in UK2000 EGLL with Orbx England, I can barely get 15 fps. Disabling England brings fps to 40+ In 4.4 and earlier versions I've had about 30 fps with Orbx England enabled.

  12. Good to know I'm not the only one. This is not a huge problem, just wanted to make sure that Orbx is aware of it.
  13. Hi Doug, Nope, no REX. I'm making scenery myself, so I keep all P3D textures 100% vanilla.
  14. I think I have an issue with the runway textures in Pago Pago. RWY 05-23 looks nothing like on the official promo screenshots and in videos. It stands out so badly, that I thought I was landing into default scenery. RWY 08-26, on the other hand, is perfectly fine. I'm using P3Dv4.3 with Global. Central, Libraries and everything else is up-to-date. In CAVOK it looks better, but still way brighter than on the promo screens and in real life:
  15. Yes, you are right Holger. I simply forgot that you can exclude by type (by default, exclude erases everything, including ORBX road lights, which I wanted to keep).
  16. Now I feel ashamed I'm so worked out with this scenery that I totally forgot that you can specify exclusions by types. Case closed, thanks for your prompt answer Nick!

  18. Hello. I would like to know how to locate and remove miscellaneous ORBX objects that aren't airport-related. Here's what I'm talking about. On the screenshot below you can see a couple of overpass roads and Jackson Memorial bridge near the KPDX airport. These objects remains even after disabling all KPDX-related ORBX files: ADE_FTX_PNW_KPDX_Portland_Intl.BGL ADE_FTX_PNW_KPDX_Portland_Intl_CVX.bgl FTX_PNW_objects_KPDX_PLC.bgl ADE_FTX_PNW_KPDX_elevation_adjustment.BGL ...which lead me to believe that they're part of ORBX PNW region. So, is there any way to get rid of these three particular objects? P3Dv4.3, ORBX Global, ORBX openLC NA, ORBX PNW, Portland CityScape. NO Vector.
