Creative Mesh release 3U2 Johnson Creek Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator!
The wilderness is calling! Start your exploration tour of Idaho’s wonderful mountainsides at Johnson Creek Airport (3U2). Nested in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and around 3 miles south of the small village of Yellow Pine the field is located at an altitude of nearly 5000 feet in Valley County in the heart of the USA. With its campsite right next to the runway, this airstrip is the first choice for many bush pilots to explore the mountains, valleys, and picturesque rivers around Yellow Pine. A real highlight is the grass runway with its length of 3400 feet, which is always in great condition thanks to constant watering and intensive care.
Johnson Creek is the first addon published by Creative Mesh for the Flight Simulator 2020. The airfield is completely redeveloped for the FS 2020 and shines with a level of detail that is searching for its match. The development team has managed to bring the charm of this well-known airfield into the flight simulator through detailed work and many hand-crafted assets. Approaching pilots, for example, should pay special attention to the irrigation system on the runway as it regularly changes its position. Changing lighting atmosphere and frequently gathering fog create new challenges when approaching Johnson Creek Airport.

Pack 2 is a compatible addition to the original Pack 1 and is within an easy flight to connect the two. A flight at the Pilatus Porter from Sapmanga to Guhu landing at all seven strips offers a flight requiring flying over peaks higher than 11,000 ft and descending steeply into the scenic valleys where the strips are.
Relax and enjoy the unique scenery that is characteristic of PNG. There are plenty of challenges as some of the strips are quite short and steep and will test your ability to operate an STOL aircraft.

Aeroplane Heaven released the Hawker Hurricane MK1 for Microsoft Flight Simulator!
Often regarded as 'the poor relation' to the Supermarine Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane was in fact, a very capable fighting machine and again in fact, was responsible for 60% of Luftwaffe losses during the Battle of Britain. As a fighter, the Hurricane was no match for the maneuverability of the Messerschmitt BF109 but if a skilled pilot could bring those eight guns to bear, more often than not, the opposition was doomed amid a hail of concentrated fire. Those thick profile wings provided an extremely stable gun platform from which to shoot too. As the Battle developed, Hurricanes were assigned the primary role of destroying the waves of enemy bombers heading for British shores - Spitfires taking over the role of fighter interception and hence the more glamorous image.
During the Battle, the Hawker Hurricane made 'aces' of many of the young pilots flying daily to defend the shores of Great Britain. It fought in all the theatres of WW2, inflicting a massive amount of damage not only to enemy forces in the air but on the ground and at sea.
Much of this success was owed to its incredibly durable construction, enabling the aircraft to sustain huge amounts of punishment and still keep going. Cannon rounds would pass harmlessly, straight through the fabric of the rear fuselage structure without exploding, and substantial armor plating behind the seat would protect the pilot from rear attack.
There is little doubt, that without this iconic aircraft's rugged durability and the dogged determination of the RAF's Hurricane pilots, Britain's 'Finest Hour' might have lasted a lot longer than it did. In this tribute package, you will find not only the Battle of Britain Mk1 but also the Tropicalized version with a Vokes filter under the nose and a Sea Hurricane equipped with a fully functional tail hook for carrier landings.

NetDesign releases DATG In Guezzam Airport on Orbx for Microsoft Flight Simulator!
In Guezzam Airport (DATG) is a regional civilian and military airport in southern Algeria, on the border with Niger. It is serviced by regular ATR 72-600 flights from Aguenar Airport (DAAT), in Tamanrasset. Pilots flying over the region can admire exotic desert landscapes featuring mountains, dunes, and vast expanses of red sand.
This Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 rendition strives to reproduce the airport as faithfully as possible as it appears in the few available photos and satellite imagery. It features a bespoke terminal and control tower undergoing almost completed renovations, with some fresh paint still to be applied. Adjacent to the airport is a small but growing Algerian military base, featuring bespoke Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters with Algerian Air Force livery on the tarmac. Sand is encroaching on almost every surface in this very remote location...
The airport itself features ground services for medium aircraft and a VOR approach. Pilots will need to land here manually.

This Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 rendition was created based on the few available photos and satellite imagery. It features three bespoke terminal and tower buildings that were recently constructed or renovated: the main passenger terminal, the control tower, and the small building in between. Adjacent to the airport is an Algerian military base where many buildings were enhanced or added along with carefully edited terrain textures. Enhanced roads, fencing around the entire airport perimeter, and hundreds of objects provide a rich backdrop during takeoffs, landings, or sightseeing flights. Custom objects including realistic Algerian Air Force aircraft are included for an authentic feel. A nearby solar plant and an ancient tomb POI enhance the region.
The airport itself features two ILS, all ground services, realistic runways and taxi lines based on satellite imagery, revamped gate numbering, taxi lighting, and taxi signs.

NetDesign releases DAAG Houari Boumediene Airport on Orbx for Microsoft Flight Simulator!
Houari Boumediene International Airport (DAAG) is Algeria's largest airport, located just southeast of Algiers. The airport has its origins during pre-independence times when it was called Maison Blanche Airport, and the oldest of the terminals still dates from that era. The newest terminal completed in 2019 on the other hand is ultra-modern and is capable of serving A380 aircraft. The airport has a total capacity of up to 16 million passengers per year and has flights to 81 destinations in 31 countries.
NetDesign has painstakingly recreated the entire airport with upwards of 40 custom models including the four terminals, various buildings, vehicles, aircraft, and objects. Extensive rework of auto-generated areas behind the airport has been done to blend it with the main terminal areas. The accompanying DAAG Scenery pack features key landmarks such as Maqam Echahid (Martyrs' Memorial) and Nelson Mandela Stadium which are flown over during the runway 09 approach. The crown jewel is a striking recreation of Djamaa el Djazaïr (the Great Mosque of Algiers), the billion-euro megaproject that was both controversial for its cost and award-winning for its beautiful architecture. It features a 265 m (869 ft) tall minaret making it the tallest building in Africa and the tallest minaret in the world. Both the mosque and stadium feature real-life helicopter pads which are available as starting positions in the simulator.

Yes, we post all updates (daily, I might add) on Discord. All partner products are updated within 24 hours of receiving them.
The Hurricane was a specific case, as the package itself had an issue we needed to resolve before releasing it to the public. (First time we've had that problem). It was fixed and the aircraft is up to the current version as of last weekend.
