  1. Hello @Quantum Amiga,

Yes. YWGT is where I fly out of mainly. Even though I live closer to Shepparton. Landing fees. LOL. I love winter time as flying over the ALPS is very amazing stuff. Mount Beauty and YPOK are good to fly into. Our internet is average and speed is my biggest issue. The C310R is an awesome aircraft and it is in my hanger and I fly it regularly.

    YSHT - YWBL - YMMB - YSHT

Was flying big birds in sim for a while, now the sim is better low and slow, magic stuff. Less cost.

    cheers

  2. Hello Striker,

Interesting question. We have all spent a lot of money supporting Orbx and I am one of them. LOL. Yep got it all for P3D etc. Now MSFS and spending more money to support Orbx. I love flying. What can i say. Finance Officer has given the thumbs up.( I am really in charge) LOL.

It would be magic to see a few more Aussie airports,  But what a huge task. So many things happening this year. Another Aussie Airport already, YBRK, thanks Orbx.

In reference to Milo's post, YHOT (Mount Hotham) and YMER (Merimbula), WOW Milo, I sometimes fly to these airports from YWGT (Wangaratta Airport). Tiger country for sure. Next time I fly I will try to get some pics.

    Exciting stuff Milo.

I am happy just to wait and be patient and enjoy what we have thanks to Orbx and All Developers.

    Cheers guys

  3.  Hello pilot100,

I have not dealt with these guys before Brian. I am in Vic near Shepparton, and have been dealing with PC Case Gear in Melbourne for many years and found them to be honest, and good service ethics related. I buy all my upgrades and parts off them, and they deliver very fast. They also do PC Builds Brian. Awesome gaming pc's at a great price.

    Go and check em out.

    Regards

  4. Hello All,

I have just completed my new full pc build as per the specs :

    Motherboard : Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Ultra DDR5 LGA1700

    CPU : Intel Core i9 - 12900K

    GPU : Gigabyte  Geforce RTX3090ti Xtreme 24g 3Fan cooler

    Memory : Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32gb 5600MHz 2 X 16gb (another 32gb coming to make 64gb)

Power Supply : Thermaltake Tough Power 1200W Modular

Hard Drive : Gigabyte Aorus RGB M.2 NVMe SSD 2TB

I am extremely happy with build however, I have a question in reference to my GPU  Gigabyte 3090ti xtreme.

This may sound like a silly question but I was wondering if some one can tell me if there is any lighting on the GPU, or does any one have the same card that can help please.

I do know that this card does not have RGB, but, does the "GE Force" logo at least light up?

Either way, Very happy with upgrade.

    Regards

  5.  Hello Holger,

Thank you for your input. Now it all makes sense. I should have remembered my history lessons from school about Easter Island. That was 50 years ago. LOL.

Eastern T3 thanks for that. Perhaps I need to read more and put my glasses on.

    Have a magic day guys.

    Regards

  6. Hello All,

This is no big issue but has anyone seen this,

Notice where SCIP is placed in my Orbx Central. It is amongst my Oceania Scenery. Any clarification  from anyone is much appreciated. Just wanted to bring this to Orbx's attention. This is not affecting my sim in any way.

  7. Hello Agera1024,

Now that would be awesome mate. Been there many times and it seems to change all the time. LOL. Great stuff, and good on ya for offering. Just an amazing place to fly.

I was in the Military many moons ago, and flying over Canungra is just spectacular. Good luck.

  8. Hello Jocko,

Nice rig you have built. I like reading about other builds, and both platforms have certainly shown amazing results. I have just recently upgraded to Z690 etc.

Been using Thermaltake towers for many years and this time I went crazy. AHT600 case.

    Motherboard : Gigabyte Z690 Aorus LGA1700

    Memory : Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5 64GB 5600MHz

    CPU : Intel i9 12900K

GPU : Gigabyte 2080ti Extreme 12gb (next project is my new gpu 3090ti). Price is still high in Oz.

I am using a Samsung 49" Curve monitor, and it is amazing with my new rig. Upgrading to new 49", the finance officer would not be happy. LOL.

    Great stuff.

    Regards

  9. Wow, Hope he is ok and makes a full recovery. What a legend in the music industry. As a musician myself, Before every gig, I always hydrate and eat before. As a drummer, I need all the energy I can muster.

Get well and be safe Mr Santana.

  10. Hello,

As an aviator, I must say its hard to imagine that this puppy would fly. Great shots and I bet it is a beasty to fly. I guess it serves its own purpose with huge loads.

Would be interesting to find out the fuel burn per hour.

    Have a magic day

  11. Hello @SP2472

I am yet to try out the new 737, and now after seeing your pictures, I am jealous. LOL. They look magic mate. Scenery is amazing not to mention the quality of the aircraft.

Good luck on your adventures and your pictures are fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

  12.  Hello boetie,

Happy Anzac Day Mate. Looking at your new rig and its a beast. I do agree with Nick about SSD.  Then I seen you mention to salvage old SSD. Good call.

I have been dealing with PC Case Gear now for over 12 years and have purchased all my IT needs from them with awesome service. In process of ordering my new RTX3090ti with PCCASEGEAR wohoooo. Ok, I am off to the 10am service.

Happy Anzac Day to you All

Enjoy your new rig mate and happy flying

  13.  Hello @Rodger Pettichord,

I stumbled across your post and it got me thinking about Cessna Bird dog, I am in North East Victoria, Australia, and I fly light aircraft eurofox, 152 etc. There is an airport in NE called YBLA, Benalla and they have one of these aircraft in there flying museum, I have been up in this aircraft with a friend, and for my choice I would pick the Bird Dog.

Short field take offs no problem.

    Cheers

  14.  Hello ivansf,

Welcome to the forums mate. This topic has been around for many years and there are no real answers that I have found, and to be honest, I am spending to much time trying to fix things in P3D 5.1 I have a good up to date rig to run it all but still issues after issues. ivansf, have you tried with default settings and then slowly bring your sliders up.

This way you will find a balance for your rig. You have a few sliders all the way to the right, try bringing them down and work your way up. This always works for me.

I have supported P3D since it was introduced to us simmers and will always support P3D. I now have a new sim and it is just magic, and I can fly with no issues and it is breath taking I must say.

Well I hope you find your answers mate to your issue. Sorry I am unable to help.

    Regards

  15. Hello All,

I have made the unfortunate transition to the new Orbx Central. I own all Orbx stuff, and now my P3D 4.5 setup is going haywire. Scenery not displaying correctly, black squares, and when I run the AEC tool, I get an "unhandled exception error" occurring after 1 min of starting the tool. Never had any of these issues before changing from FTX Central.

Just not sure how to fix my issues. Another problem which is probably my fault is that I have started to migrate all Orbx to new folder, but now I am reading that it is not required.

    Bummer for me.

    Regards
