    Hi Jose

I have the freeware he once uploaded to Flightsim.to as aka506

When he became partner with the Colombian guy they made V pilot and then they upgraded Tocumen and the freeone was removed from Flightsim.to

He recently replied saying that he hasn't test it yet but he believes there should be no conflict

I believe in time we'll see an official confirmation.

As I have the freeware one and it looks pretty acceptable for me I'll wait until the payware one is discounted mainly because I hate the market place and some developers like Simulación Extrema decided to sell only in the market place, unortunately.

    Cheers

    Carlos

Interesting. I downloaded all his airports from flightsim.to. He's very talented. I also have his payware KHPN and I really like it.

    Hi Jose

I have their free version and it is, so I would say the payware is too.

I just asked Gabriel on the messenger (one of the developers based here in CR) for reconfirmation, if you don't mind waiting, as soon as he replies I'll let you know

You might be lucky and someone who has it might confirm right now.

    Cheers

    Carlos

Thanks brother. Which freeware do you have?

The payware version has additional city lighting and boats. I just don't want any conflicts.

  3. Even the best PC can cause CTDs when running MSFS if you don't have all your settings correct or or test mods in the community folder. The only time I had ctds with MSFS was with faulty moods. It's worth the time because there's nothing in the future that will replace MSFS.

    Read this: https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016142680-All-versions-How-to-improve-the-performance

You can also try XP11 or XP12 when it's released. But even with Orbx TE and all my amazing add-ons, the scenery & airports look outdated.

I do not have AeroFly, but I know that there are some sceneries available for the platform.

If I were you, I would go back to Win 10 (full clean install) and re-install MSFS, then spend the remainder of 2022 learning the platform. There's so much to learn that if you love flight sim like I do, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. It's an amazing creation!

I'm still on a i72600K and I'm enjoying MSFS more than I have ever enjoyed any sim since Flight Unlimited 1/2/3.

Maybe this year I'll upgrade to the latest CPU. Maybe!

So, after going back and checking, I did have an additional update to install. Did that, took a flight around Melbourne with PG on, and although I do have some building imperfections, it's no where near as bad as Carlos' screenshots. Most features look pretty good actually. In case anyone wants to know, I am running a rolling cache of 32Gb, but not sure how much difference that makes with PG.

Same here. I just set a 30 GIG rolling cache and my scenery still doesn't look like Adams. I also suffer from some melted PG buildings, but not as bad as OP.

I fully agree with you, Jose. Can't be much better than this. But we already were of this opinion ten years ago and look at what we have now. So let's see, how this evolves over the next ten years. :):)

I was just so happy to see one of my favorite AU airports enhanced in MSFS. It's always a nostalgic feeling when I get to fly in Australia.

All my thanks to Orbx and devs.

Maybe it's a server/bandwidth problem - and that the Asobo servers are currently under heavy load with WU7. It may just sort itself out later on.

One thing to try is to set a Data Rolling Cache - which could maybe take some load off scenery tiles downloads, so hopefully freeing up some bandwidth for the photogrammetry.

I'll give Melbourne a test flight to see what I see!

    Looks fine here! :)

    Hi Adam,

What setting do you have for data rolling cache? I've seen some bad looking PG in the past and I want to avoid it if possible.

    Thanks.

I've not heard back from Aerosoft so I'm unable able to fix a third-party airport, so my hands are tied there. The issue with that airport was that it included its own custom ortho tile and mesh changes that won't work with TrueEarth's

The conflict of buildings at JustSim's LEPA or the default is likely not from the Orbx TE Airport folder, but is because the airport itself does not have the correct exclusions on it to block out the buildings below. This is not something I can fix in TrueEarth and it would need resolving in the third-party scenery itself.  I've taken the default airport and added facade exclusions that it was missing and attached it below:

    a_LEPA.zip 942.63 kB · 89 downloads

Unzip this and place it in your Custom Scenery folder. Make sure it is above all the TrueEarth folders (basically right at the top of the file). It may also work with Justsim's LEPA, as long as JustSim's LEPA is installed above this, this one should correctly block out the facades (but not having Justsim's scenery I'm unable to test it)

@Tony WroblewskiI came here looking for a fix for LEPA and this fix works great! THANK YOU.

Can you do the same thing for LEIB Block & LRMH Block, PLEASE?

This will allow me to add whatever payware/freeware add-on airports that I want.

    Thanks again.

The slope is an exact replica of the real world airport, msfs allows us to make a profile of the runway, and Tim was painstakingly determined to get it spot on.

    cheers

    Hi Ken,

It looks great and I wish you much success.

I hope we can one day see Samoa and the island airports. Still one of my fav packages.

    Best regards,

    Jose
