Yep, Thanks John. I think the free version just gives the same menus (widgets) as default MSFS. So not much to shout about. The other versions offer (as I understand it) enhanced function and use //42 widgets. I think that the idea is that other providers can write more widgets (over time and if the system is popular) for the //42 menu system providing more functionality but its all a bit vague at present, hence my question.
