Colours of landscapes sometimes can look completely different from high altitudes than they look from ground level. I first realized that when flying over Autralia's Red Centre and seeing Uluru in midst of vast dirty brownish-grey plains, whereas when looking from ground level (and low altidude flight) the soil colours of these plains is a bright orange red.
Aerial imagery used for Google Maps, Bing etc. and subsequently used for flightsim sceneries is mostly taken from satellites or high flying planes, so can differ in colours from how a scenery looks from ground level.
Also, for what ever reason, many photos used by Google Maps or Bing have an unnatural greenish hue, which unfortunately can be seen in many areas of the world within MSFS.
There are a multitude of factors as to reasons for Aerial Imagery taken from an Aircraft may look different in colour. Pattern of flight lines, Sun Angle, Season, Weather, Atmospherics and Altitude and the type of Sensor used all play a part.

Hello Everyone,
Please be advised, The Orbx Ticket Portal was established to give our customers the quickest response to resolving the following.
1. Activation of OrbxDirect Account
2. Purchase Enquiries
3. Credit Card/Stripe and or Payment Enquiries
4. Wrong Orders Purchased
5. Password Reset
6. Access to our Forum (Having no access to the Support Sub Forums)
7. Commercial Accounts and or the above pertaining to a Commercial Account.
It is very important that the above criteria are followed.
If you open a Ticket for Technical Support, I will not give you Technical Support. The Orbx Support Forum is designed for this purpose.
Basically, at any given time, the Ticket Portal can and is very busy as Orbx grows and adds more products for our customers to enjoy.
Technical Support Requests will only slow down the response time to our customers, and it is imperative we have a minimal delay in response times.
Many Thanks

Hi,
The 1.60 Patch is currently being worked on Sir, I am marking this a Noted until the issue is fixed. We will visit this thread upon the release of Patch 1.60 to hopefully put the error to bed.

Hi,
It may be a registry issue, please run a Registry check to set the path to your simulator.

Nice Beast you have there mate, I ended up getting the GS73 Stealth. Does not pack the same punch but she does go pretty hard.

Gday Nullack,
I feel much more at home with a Desktop Pc, I must be the only person here that has not seen JV's laptop Id rather invest that kind of money updating the Desktop after buying a new LG Monitor. I am hoping for the 1080ti if it does get released. I did get the Msi Laptop but it was under $3G and very handy to have, it almost keeps up with my current Desktop

Thanks for the suggestions and input guys, much appreciated.

All good mate, I dont think its rude, just none of my buisness thats all.
-
Gday,
I would say that's his buisness not mine, I am not asking for swap this and that Bassman, just a Laptop that can do the job. Its looking like the 970 Msi at the moment.

Hello Simmers,
Experience is everything and when it comes to Laptops I fall very short. Does anyone have a recommendation based on experience of a good purchase $1500-$2000 or near to it in AUD? Or perhaps you know of a good brand. I am after 30FPS on Mid settings, Small SSD for OS and id say a 1T for P3d.
Advice is appreciated
Had some fun using Volanta
