Lyn
My FSX has a dedicated computer, no Internet, only stuff required by FlightSim is installed. So, I am having trouble validating my FTX If I connected my broadband just to validate and then disconnect, what security would I need to be safe. Would I need Anti-virus, Internet security and all that baggage or would XP's firewall be good enough. I dragged myself out of bed at 4.00am this morning, got straight onto the download and had it safe and sound on my hard drive in 47mins 20secs. It was too easy, I just knew something had to stuff up. Never mind, Lyn.
Martin Lott
Hi Lynn, I would just go with XP's firewall if all you intend on doing is validating your FTX. For receiving your emails it might be safest to get them with a trusted webmail site instead of outlook express if you don't have an anti-virus program running. Lyn
Thanks Martin, no Email, just validate and go, never to go online again. Lyn.
