napier Posted May 15, 2015 Share Posted May 15, 2015 I wish to send some images to ORBX re a problem and have created an account in OZx Image Hosting Service as per Jay Kae post on how to in payware support section. Goes good up to point of drag & drop a Jpeg photo and it will not progress - even waited 10 minutes but nothing happens. My profile has nothing entered in albums etc. Could someone give me some tips or point me in the right direction please ? Jethro VH-JET Posted May 15, 2015 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Hi napier, Yes, as jabble says, you must then click the Green "Upload" button after you drag drop your jpeg's. Then select a category(album) for your jpeg's. Close the padlock if you wish (PrivateUpload) > click "Upload" or "PrivateUpload" > wait for the Upload to finish, you will then be presented with your link codes. Don't use the first ones presented as they will only show up as linked code in blue underlined text in your post. The much better option click "Viewer links" pop out menu, choose BBCode Original Linked, then copy the URL links. Paste these links into your forum Post. Initially it will display just the URL code but if you preview your post or click the Black "Post" button your pictures will appear in your post. (Once pasted make sure you find the end of each linked code > click enter. This will put a space between each picture, much easier to distinguish one picture from another with spaces) Alternatively Keep OZXImage host page open for multiple jpeg's when using the alternate method, as you will need to copy each code individually. If you want to see your picture immediately in your forum post. After "Upload" from "Viewer Links" you can choose "Direct Links" then copy the "http" code one link at a time. Once you have copied your code for one picture (One code for one picture) then in your forum post edit panel click the little tree picture icon "URL button" in the edit banner. Paste your "single jpeg" code in the URL dialog box that will appear, click OK. Hey presto you have just successfully pasted a picture, you can then do this same procedure for the remaining jpeg's you wish to post. Finalise your post with any additional text. It will then open like this and choose the shot you want to upload, click Open. You should then see the shot you have chosen. Click Upload and it should upload it for you. Now then if you cant Drag and Drop, Click here it will show you your saved shots and chose another and repeat what you have already done. When you have done this click on Upload and you should start to upload all the shots you have chosen. Then scroll down the the list until you come to BB Code Embeded, click this and it will give you the code then copy and paste these and you should be done. cheers Iain Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
napier Posted May 15, 2015 Author Share Posted May 15, 2015 Thanks team for clear instructions but NO luck in proceeding beyond drag & drop stage. It won't transfer and hold the picture nor do I have a dropdown boxes select category or green upload and padlock buttons. napier Posted May 16, 2015 Author Share Posted May 16, 2015 Thanks Iain, I can get to the point of seeing the blue box and arrow with [Drag and drop images here to upload], and the [you can also browse here from your computer or add image URL's]. There is no picture of the aircraft or select category (drop box) the [green upload button] just lots of pictures underneath. In another words in your last shot I get everything from above where you have inserted the red ring - nothing below (hope I'm making scene). Should the picture of the aircraft be there and the green upload button be present without uploading a pic ? or is it a corrupt account ? Sorry to ask but how to I delete this one and re download? - nothing showing in my profile images or albums just greyed out. Also had two other friend follow the instructions of all who have replied and they also can not get it working. Just another thing I noticed as soon as I click open ( your 2nd screenie) from pictures the picture libraries disappears off taskbar !!! any other suggestion please.
