PENDING Uninstall question (I have read the user guide)

Morning all,

 

I had an OOM yesterday LGAV-EHAM as I approached EHAM. I had installed FTX Global, FTX Global Vector, Open LC EU and European Region. 

 

I followed the user guide steps to uninstall these as I want to run with just FTX Global for a bit. 

 

1. FTX Global [default]

2. Delete ORBX folder

3. Delete ORBX related files from the World/Scenery folder (not sure if I left any. What are BNX files?)

 

Questions;

 

1. I can't help but feel there are a load of ORBX files (textures etc...) lying around in P3D folders?

2. Should I delete ORBX areas from the scenery editor in P3D

3. I tried to delete the FTX_AED_VECTOR scenery area in the editor but it was greyed out and wouldn't let me.

 

Can I manually go into the .cfg and delete any ORBX entries?

 

4. I am then ok to reinstall FTX Global and I can be sure I won't have any FTX vector/Euro region being loaded in the sim?
