Installation and FTX Central Region

pmcoz

Recommended Posts

I apologise for this question. I did peruse the FAQ (especially http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/31552-installation-instructions-for-orbx-regions/)and even the 'definitive guide', but couldn't find a complete answer...

I need to reinstall all my FTX stuff (regions, airports, cityscapes, patches). I remain unclear about the appropriate FTX Central region setting that should be applied before each installation. I gather that regions should generally be installed from 'Default', whereas airports and cityscapes should be installed from the region to which they apply. Is this correct? And what about the patches and libraries?

I'm a bit paranoid about this, because I've had it wrong before and totally destroyed my FSX installation.

Thanks for any advice!
